At Cofinimmo we're continuing our policy of participation in Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). These enable certain public services to be offered the necessary funding for the construction of buildings, which must meet specific requirements.

We bear no construction risk in this type of property investment. Nevertheless, Cofinimmo supervises the work and also takes charge of the upkeep and maintenance throughout the duration of the lease - at the end of which the public authority has a purchase option.

Therefore, Cofinimmo doesn't benefit from the perpetual ownership of these properties. Instead, this remains with the local authorities.
